Mayor Kevin Hartke is passionate about all things Chandler and Arizona. He began his second term in January 2023. Kevin served as Vice Mayor twice, as well as on City Council for nine years. Mayor Hartke will be sharing remarks on what the state and local government are doing to support Arizona families during the ongoing healthcare crisis—particularly in light of recent cuts to food assistance and Medicare programs.

If the Arizona Black Family Health & Wellness Expo cancels all full refunds will be processed within 30-45 business days of the cancellation date.
Vendor Information
Vendor participation is "first come first served". We encourage you to secure your spot early.
The Arizona Black Family Health & Wellness Expo is not responsible for any lost or stollen property. PLEASE be aware of your products & items.
- Complete vendor registration form. Must include the names of your team that will be receiving a "Vendor" badge. (ONLY 2 badges are included with registration- additional badges can be purchased for $5.00 ea.)
- Bring one 6 ft or 8 ft table (must have table cloth) w/ 1 or 2 chairs.
- Provide a small trash can for trash, or have a trash bag for trash.
- Space must be kept tidy and have a neat appearance.
- Canopy/tent recommended - should not be larger than 10x20.
- If using a generator it MUST be a newer one and cannot be loud or disperse fumes. Must be 20 feet from food.
- All food vendors must have - Cottage license * Food Handlers card (Can show proof 15 days before event)
- All food vendors MUST wear gloves when handling food products regardless if they are prepackaged or not.

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful experience for everyone, we ask that all attendees, vendors, and participants follow these rules and guidelines: By attending, all guests and participants acknowledge that they are attending the event at their own risk. The Expo and its organizers assume no liability for injury, illness, or accidents that may occur during the event.

Seating is reserved for VIP guests.
- VIP Guests are given wrist bands and you must wear your wrist band at all times while attending the Expo.

Participation in workshops, fitness sessions, or physical activities is voluntary and undertaken with full responsibility by the participant.

Arizona weather can be very hot — please stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks in shaded or indoor areas as needed.

No firearms, weapons, or dangerous objects of any kind are allowed at the event.

Illegal substances, alcohol brought from outside the venue, or smoking inside designated non-smoking areas are strictly prohibited.

Pets are not permitted unless they are certified service animals.

By attending, you consent to the possibility of being photographed or recorded for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes.

The 411 STAGES
The 411 Stages at the Arizona Black Family Health & Wellness Expo is where information meets inspiration. These stages are dedicated to bringing our community the knowledge, tools, and voices we need to thrive. From expert talks on mental health to open discussions on the challenges facing our Black youth, the 411 Stages are spaces for real conversations and real solutions. Alongside these powerful discussions, local artists will take the stage to uplift and inspire through music, spoken word, and performance, reminding us of the strength and beauty within our culture.
Talent & Motivational Speakers
We are looking for talented creative individuals that would like to "volunteer" to showcase their creative art. If you are a singer, band, dance group, or spoken word artist please reach out to us.
If you are a professional speaker and would like to present helpful information that will contribute to the mental, emotional and physical uplift, and growth of the black community please reach out to us.
If you are a VIP Guests you will have a RESERVED spot to the 411 stage.
VOLUNTEERS
The Arizona Black Family Health & Wellness Expo is more than just an event — it’s a movement to uplift, empower, and strengthen our community through health, wellness, culture, and connection. To make this day possible, we need the support of dedicated and passionate volunteers like YOU!

We encourage youth and young adults to volunteers!!!
We’re looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of roles, including:

Event Setup & Breakdown Crew – Assist with setting up booths, tables, signage, and equipment before and after the event.

Registration & Check-In Team – Welcome guests, distribute wristbands/programs, and guide attendees to key areas.

Vendor Support Team – Assist vendors with booth setup, directions, and ongoing support throughout the day.
-
Stage & Program Assistants – Support speakers, performers, and presenters on the 411 Stage by managing timing, microphones, and transitions.

Kids Zone Helpers – Supervise children’s activities, games, and workshops while ensuring a safe environment.

Event Guides – Welcome guests, answer questions, and keep traffic flowing smoothly. Help direct guests to health screenings, workshops, and activity stations. Provide water, snacks, and assistance to volunteers, vendors, and performers.

Media & Photography Crew – Capture photos, video, and live updates to share the energy of the event.

First Aid Support (Certified Only) – Assist with minor medical needs alongside our health partners.

Security Crew – Monitor event spaces, assist with safety checks, and help ensure a secure, family-friendly atmosphere..
